
Dr. Leslie Seppinni is a licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) and Doctor of Clinical Psychology, (Psy.D) practicing in Beverly Hills. With over 18 years of experience in the field of Psychology specializing in Cognitive Behavioral therapy for families, couples, individuals and adolescents. In all her work Dr. Leslie utilizes her Excuse Free Living philosophy, with its emphasis on The 4 Cs: Ccuriosity, Conviction, Courage and Commitment as her cornerstone. Dr. Leslie is bi-racial, spent four years in foster care, was on her own since the age of eleven, and was raised on Welfare. Dr. Leslie is self-made. As a result of her hard work and determination working two jobs throughout her high school and throughout her adulthood often seven days a week she realized that she could make a difference and could help, not only those who had similar experiences to hers, but many other groups of people in need. She spent seven years working with and teaching emotionally troubled adolescents and their families. She also worked with chronically mentally ill adults, the developmentally disabled, and the elderly. Dr. Leslie has also as a served as a private conservator.
As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, Dr. Leslie has held staff privileges at many hospitals including UCLA Medical Center (Neuro-Psychiatric Institute, NPI), Santa Monica Hospital, Sherman Oaks Hospital and Mission Community Hospital. She has frequently assisted the Los Angeles Police Department and FBI with corporate accounts by providing expert negotiation and intervention.
The National Mental Health Examiner for Examiner.com, Dr. Leslie was chosen as one of the ten best writers, out of more than one thousand examiner writers. Dr. Leslie has appeared on CBS Evening News with Katie Couric, CNN Nancy Grace, and many local TV shows from Jacksonville to New York to San Francisco. Dr. Leslie has also been a featured speaker for the Learning Annex.
